JOB OBJECTIVES:

Be responsible for the Beam House related R&D projects and tasks.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Commitment

1. Drive the Project successfully within budget in time with high quality.

-New product development

-Raw material replacement

-Product relocation

-Performance improvement

2. Provide technical support to other teams or projects & tasks assigned by supervisor.

-Product stewardship

-Outsourcing & 3rd party products

-Shelf-life extension

-Eco-gap analysis

-Competitor product analysis

3. Closely work with other functional teams such as TS, PM, Manufacturing, supply chain and CSO to ensure the project commitment.

4. Keep close relationship with the innovation campus to leverage the resource for the project commitment.

Documentation

1. Prepare the project stage reports and final report including all the conclusions and findings.

2. Document all the technical solutions and experiment notes.

3. Keep on doing the state-of-art analysis, tracking related technical references for the new technologies and findings, and report the results timely.

Safety & housekeeping

Be responsible for housekeeping in work area. Follow up and obey the Company's EHS Guidelines.





REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: Master degree with fine chemical background, major in leather chemicals or engineering is highly required.

2. Working Experience: 1-2 years of leather related working experience is preferred but fresh is also acceptable.

3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:

i. Be familiar with leather making process and related chemical principles.

ii. Be familiar with basic principles of formulation and knowledge of leather chemicals.
