The candidate actively involve in monitoring biomarker data generated from clinical trials. Those data are created to determine e.g. the efficacy or safety of drug candidates or to predict responder of drug-therapy.

The candidate will organize and monitor BM analytical activities in clinical studies performed by external vendors, applying previously validated methods including pharmacogenetics /genomics; Immune assay, tissue biopsy/immunohistochemistry; The activity includes communication with external partners (e.g. CRO, central labs, bio-analytical centers), monitoring the conduct of work and quality of deliverables in collaboration with internal Biomarker experts.

Major activities:
- Coordinates the execution of biomarker plans performed externally with internal teams and external partners ,especially for activities including pharmarcogenetic/genomics and data analysis, but also activities employing immune assays;
- Communicate with Clinical teams and monitor the Biomarker activity conduct of the external partners in China/Asia;
- Monitor and proof analytical data from clinical samples, according to predefined standards and transfer to related data management systems and LIMS;
- Provide solutions to analytical and project management issues, such as quality-related documents and solutions;
- Analytical approaches, embedded in global wise external matrix team;
- Apply best practices developed in BMD and applicable Novartis standards and SOPs.
