Responsibilities (fundamental job duties):

-R&D support to technical service & sales;

-Developing projects with transparent documentation;

-Setting up product development project timetable with technical director and meeting deadlines of the projects, reporting frequently the status to technical director;

-Evaluating new raw materials and updating approved raw material list;

-Selecting proper raw materials for development projects;

-Reducing cost and optimizing performance of formulations;

-Setting up rework plan for production department and tracking implementation;

-Handling slow moving raw materials and products;

-Conducting upscaling test for new formulations;

-Ensuring safety and security of work places;

-Maintaining proper operation of R&D laboratory;

-Ensuring technical support to customers in collaboration with technical service & sales;

-Providing optimal product performance and application methods;

-Assurance of appropriate conduct and filling of visit and trial reports;

-Conducting regular progress review meetings with subordinates;

-Motivating and coaching subordinates, ensuring a learning curve for the organization;

-Contribute to the principal guidelines of the company's mission in all daily activities.


Minimum Requirements:

-Master degree or above in chemistry, applied chemistry, or strong technical background;

-Solid R&D experience in coating industry for at least 8 years;

-Proven achievements in leading technical team and managing R&D projects;

-Good interpersonal skills, strong working ethics, result-driving;

-English communication skill;

-Proficient with Microsoft Office.
