Description
Developing software product documentation that describes how to effectively use HP products.
Exercising significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing information engineering work and achieving objectives.
Selects, develops, and utilizes the optimum technology in environments characterized by complex problems, projects, and customer needs.
Makes choices that are consistent with documentation project goals and that balance usability, reusability, and maintainability.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business and software issues to creating user-friendly, technically accurate documentation that meets customers' needs.
Applies HP branding and style requirements to all documents.
Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and more junior employees.
Provide expertise to functional teams and may participate in cross-team initiatives.
Demonstrates an active and professional attitude.
Assist in maximizing document quality through aggressive peer review.
Qualifications
Produced documentation marked by readability, accessibility, usability, and technical accuracy.
Worked on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Participated in cross-functional initiatives.
Evangelized best practices across information engineering peers and nearby project teams.
Connected the technical dots with other programs, projects and business objectives.
Drove adoption of industry-wide standards within project and work group.
Provided mentoring and guidance to peers and lower level employees.
