PPS Life Cycle Marketing Manager

Provide local Market and Customer insights to define and champion development of tailored Emerging Market Solutions for China. Drive new printing solutions via workflow solutions and/or partnerships that will accelerate the LES business in China. Identify new business models and Revenue sources that provide long term, sustainable value to customers and differentiation vs. competitors. Assist Country and Regional teams in messaging and launch.

Responsibilities include:
? Development of new printing solutions for the China Market:
o Provided quantitative business analysis to identify key business printing opportunities
o Display in-depth expertise of the local Market and Customer trends/needs - engage in primary and secondary Market and Customer research
o Utilize Market and Customer expertise to drive a healthy innovation funnel
o Prioritize innovation concepts, develop use cases, and propose highly prioritized solutions for development

? Identification of new Business Models and Revenue sources:
o Identify new partnerships to profitably accelerate printing
o Identify opportunities to monetize printing and installed based beyond HW and Supplies
o Identify areas of sustainable competitive leadership for HP

? Drive Identified Solutions through Product Lifecyle:
o Articulate the business value of the solution and opportunity for HP relative to the overall Market Opportunity
o Effectively engage with R&D team to provide Solutions Requirements Document and drive the Solution through the Product Lifecycle
o Provide all Marketing and Business materials for Solutions Checkpoints

? Engage with Region and Country teams on Messaging/GTM:
o Define the Key Messages and GTM strategy for the solution early in the product lifecycle
o Engage with Country and Region teams to execute on Messaging and GTM strategy and launch solution

Based on a strong knowledge of trends in the industry affect the strategy/direction of the product line/line of services or solutions
? Suggest strategy changes internally and with external partners
? Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products/services/ solutions
? Improve processes affecting their workgroup and interfaces; e.g., forecast system, obsolesces process with retailers
? Seen by sales team as an expert in the products/services/solutions and regularly is called on to defend the benefits in front of customers or partners Regional:
? Regularly recommend product/ service/solution strategic direction to senior management
? Often create innovative solutions to enhance sales of the product lines or line of services/solutions
? Seen by sales team as an expert in the products/services/solutions and regularly is called on to defend the benefits in front of customers or partners
? Influences at the senior vice president and above level

Education and Experience Required:

o A minimum of 3 years experience in IT Marketing, Business Development, Alliance Marketing, Business Analysis, Regional Business Management, or Sales
o The ideal candidate would have experience driving the development and delivery of key Business Applications and Workflow Solutions in BRIC + MEMA
? College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical

Knowledge and Skills Required:

? 10 years in product marketing fundamentals
? Strong leadership capabilities
? Minimum 1 year work experience in a general marketing function beyond Product Marketing
