Our current team encompasses over 130 staffs dedicated to bringing customers around the world a new and enjoyable experience in e-retail. We are currently operating in 16 different languages in over 30 countries.

The Motion Global Shanghai Office is currently seeking for a Purchasing Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible primarily for Purchase Order processing, supplier development and managing and controlling the overall purchasing function, including analysis and reporting. The Purchasing Officer role is a key function within the Supply Chain department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate suppliers' performances to maintain uninterrupted supply and ensure competitive ranking of suppliers in order to meet business needs
- Proactively identify gaps in supply chain
- Process purchase order and monitor status within SLAs
- Manage daily communications with all Suppliers for operational needs (including maintaining supplier key information)
- Collect, review, and analyze supplier invoices for accuracy (including processing Credit Notes on timely basis)
- Work with Business Analyst to ensure that minimum inventory requirements are processed and monitored within SLAs
- Do weekly and monthly reporting and analysis

- Analytical and skilled in preparing and analyzing reports
- Having a service orientated outlook and passion to help the business grow, and therefore your career

Requirements:
- University graduate with a degree in Business Administration or Language with Major in English
- At least 3 years of working experience in purchasing and supplier management; experience in the B2C online business is a plus
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and capable to work well with order management systems
- Excellent English in both verbal and written (spoken Italian is a plus)
