Reporting to Site Leader, this position will be responsible to manage site engineering aspects: plant improvement, plant EHS, process optimization, capital investment and maintenance. It will contribute to deliver manufacturing plan and ensure risk reduction goals are met on short-term, medium-term and long-term in compliance with local legislative procedures. It will aim towards developing & implementing company loss prevention standards and ensure mandatory loss prevention standards are met for the site.



Accountabilities:



- Providing process engineering expertise in the design, commissioning, start-up and optimisation of plant and processes within the MUSC site

- Undertake feasibility studies on manufacturing scenarios; evaluate, recommend & implement approved manufacturing scenarios within the MUSC site

- Support MUSC site on Maintenance organization, assure corporate guidelines will be followed and implemented (Mech Integrity, LO/TO, MOC etc)

- Through application of process engineering knowledge, process hazard analysis & risk assessment, ensure design and operation of process plants conform to national and company loss prevention standards and risk tolerance thresholds. Develop and implement new company loss prevention standards.

- Project management; define, plan monitor and control assigned projects to meet project objectives within cost, quality and time criteria.

- Support all the MUSC manufacturing site to follow and to apply fundamental safety procedure inside Engineering and Maintenance organization:

- Assure MOC procedure, working properly for the engineering & Maintenance prospective

- Assure the Engineering project documentation updated and available (P&IDs, equipments and instrumentation data sheet and maintenance procedure)



Qualifications:



- Bachelors/Master's Chemical Engineering degree from a Technical University.

- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the (petro)chemical / fine / specialty chemical industry / engineering contractor (global and international companies)

- Proven (process engineering) experience in multiple new and modification projects (ranging from USD 0.1 MM to several USD 10 MM)

- Thorough and in-depth knowledge in process safety

- Fluent English, both oral and written.

- Strong focus on safety

- Strong analytical skills
