职位描述

General Activities:

1) Utilize Operations / Financial / Commercial / Analytical experience to globally source various production components for the Electromechanics commodity which emcompass the following sub-commodities : Connections Systems, Horn Unit, Motors Components, SW-Components, Switches and Wire Harnesses. Develop and implement global commodity strategies that employ cost modeling techniques to procure components at lowest total acquisition cost.
2) Work closely with Supplier Development Engineers to identify and evaluate new sources of supply with leading edge technology, global reach, and superior product reliability. Lead supplier cost reduction programs and activities to achieve organizational goals for cost savings, product quality improvements, and delivery performance. Utilize knowledge of various processing technologies to effectively make sourcing decisions.
3) With assigned commodities, administer RFQs, RFPs, and lead negotiations on commercial contracts including Statements of Work and Long Term Agreements to ensure commercial terms are met.
4) Conduct reviews of key strategic suppliers to ensure compliance to annual cost reduction and PPM targets. Supply reporting documents as required. Develop and implement global commodity strategy, harmonized with business needs. Lead sourcing initiatives with the understanding of total cost, cost drivers and technology advancements. Obtain information as required for sourcing committee reviews.
5) Lead cost reduction initiatives to achieve overall cost reduction goals. Conduct capacity planning for appropriate commodity. Participate as team member for Global Commodity Reviews. Lead and participate in core and non core training to obtain vision and personal development
6) Participates/facilitates reviews in accordance with established TRW processes (GDPIM, end of phase reviews).
7) Participate in the development of statement of work (commercial expectations) for advanced sourcing. Support APQP process as required. Continually increase global awareness of supply base and market to develop knowledge of key cost drivers. Assist plants appropriately for delivery issues in cases where the issue is non-quality related, such as, capacity. Lead programs as assigned. Participate in Lean / Less events, at least one annually. Support / Initiate / Participate in Value events, at least one annually.
8) This role includes overall support in the AP region to all TRW BU's:
OSS: Occupant Safety Systems
ST: Steering
BL&S: Braking, linkage and suspension
