A.   Primary purpose of role:

The position is key products quality guarantee role who follow Costa global food safety policy & guarantee products safety in Costa channels.

B. Key Accountabilities:

1.    Supplier Management: coordinate with 3rd party arrange supplier approval & routine audit, review CA report & follow up supplier improvement action. Arrange supplier random visit & shadow audit if needed.

2.    Suppler Compliance: Collect & review all supplier’s compliance license & keep in update. Maintain qualify supplier list.

3.    Products Compliance: Review products spec from safety & compliance perspective, including label, recipe. Provide technical support during product innovation related to compliance point refer to national regulation & costa internal policy

4.    Products Allergen: collect & review all product’s allergen information & communicate with MKT team to display for customer, control cross-contamination risk during production on supplier side.

5.    POSM management: Review campaign POSM material & provide technical advice to MKT team from compliance perspective.

6.    Products Testing: coordinate with 3^rd party to arrange random products testing in store & DC follow the testing plan, emergency testing arrangement if need. Summary & review testing result & follow up improvement action with supplier & OPS team.

7.    New Biz Retail: Support New Biz channel to set up food safety management system, including risk assessment, regulation checking point review & follow up, products testing, customer complain related to safety perspective.

8.    Work with cross function handing & investigate products complain related to safety & follow up improvement action. Maintain customer complain record & dig opportunity point.

9.    Organize safety training to cross function team when necessary

a)   Supplier & products safety level up

b)   Products compliance rate

c)   New biz food safety system build up & execution

d)   Customer complain close rate

e)   Other compliance POSM, Allergen…etc.

D. Required knowledge, skills or experience

1.    Bachelor degree for food related major

2.    Solid working experience & on site audit experience in food industry for at least 5 years

3.    Good communication skill & team work spirit

4.    Integrity & honest

The Costa Coffee story began back in 1971, when two Italian brothers – Sergio and Bruno – arrived in London with a burning desire to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life. In 1981 they opened the first coffee shop in the heart of London, from here the Costa family continued to expand across London, the UK and eventually the globe. There are now over 3,800 Costa Coffee shops in 32 markets, 8,000 express machines worldwide and over 3,000 Proud to serve partnerships in the UK.
