职位描述
Our client is a Shanghai based, newly set up E-commerce Company selling 100% imported products in China. Their main product categories are Food, Gym related facilities/equipment, Kitchenware/Cookware and Chinaware. The business strategy of the company is to sell products with low margin and products are mainly produced in Europe and US by mid-size manufacturers. Advantages of the company is logistic/supply chain and custom clearance.
Job Responsibility
- As member of strategic team, providing business advises/suggestions to management team, and be involved in the decision-making process
- Propose products the Chinese market (the niche market the company focuses) demands;
- Communicate and coordinate with sourcing managers in Europe and US on frequent basis to select the right product for China market/customer
- Leading the merchandising and related operations in China
- Managing team members to achieve business targets
- Collaborate with marketing, sales and other departments
Job Requirement
- Diploma or above education background, retail related major is a benefit
- Bilingual communication capability, oral English fluency is preferred
- Experience in retail merchandising
- Product knowledge, food or non-food, but not so much on soft line, preferably on Chinaware and Cookware
- Strategic thinking ability
- Understanding of China retail market, especially middle to high-end customer needs
- E-commerce retail experience is a plus
- Sales and marketing experience and knowledge is also nice to have
- Can make right decision given multiple choices
- Good team player
