Job Responsibilities

· Hiring and managing the warehouse personnel

(TBD this could be 3rd party warehousing employees)



· Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment-fork lift, warehouse reach truck, pallet jack, etc. Operation of warehouse equipment is required to move show products around the facility. In addition, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible, through an outside vendor, for keeping these machines in good and safe operating order.



· Managing warehouse facility, security, and the safety of workers and visitors

Maintain the facility on a day to day operation. Overseeing the security and safety of workers at various locations on the property. Housekeeping of the facility and keeping a daily log of all visitors that enter each warehouse location.



· Monitor the day to day warehouse operations in conjunction with the project construction schedule and activities (determine operating hours and labor overtime due to site needs)



· Tracking of inventory (Interior and exterior areas)

Tracking inventory includes receiving, tagging items, locating items, and determines whether items should be stored inside or outside.



· Coordinating Shipping and Receiving Operations including local and imported items from the team and contracted vendors. This responsibility includes interface with Purchasing and Accounts Payable personnel and maintain proper records on all items including direct-delivery items for payment releases.



· Maintaining proper records of warehouse operations including invoices, receipts, and release forms of items shipped. Inter-company receipts must be filed with the vendor receipts.



· Implementing inventory control procedures such as audits tracking damages and losses, and completing paper work on including claims and reports.



· Managing the inspection of all received items. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for inspecting all crates.



· Coordinating of Owner Furnished items-returns back to the team for warranty issues or repairs (Packing, crating, and shipping) with proper shipping documents



· Inspecting loads to ensure they are secure for travel on or off property



· Coordinating with vendors, engineers, project coordinators, and buyers to help facilitate item movement. This responsibility may include accommodating project coordinators and engineer's inspections and discussions with buyers and vendors regarding payment on items.



· Managing the warehouse operating budget and reporting on variances...



· Coordinating with US Warehouse on timing of shipments to insure that appropriate storage is available, and that goods are received in time for inspection, repair (if necessary) and available for site installation.



· Coordinating with outside 3rd party warehouse operations for early storage requirements in the event that the site facility does not have adequate space for storage. Individual will be responsible in assisting with the receivables at the 3rd party warehouse, item tracking, and damage control. This includes proper record keeping and good communication skills with the 3rd party warehouse.



· Reporting to Executive Director on routine basis.



Minimum Requirements

· Experience in warehouse management

· Individual must have a current valid driving license.

· Skilled in operating warehouse equipment-forklift, warehouse reach truck, pallet jack, etc.
