Basic Function: Provide repair technical support and direction for the repair of CFM56 engine parts undergoing repair or overhaul. Responsible for developing and writing work instructions for engine part repairs in compliance with Company and Regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Responsible for the overall process of engine repairs. Provide technical work instructions to the business unit.
-Ensure capability of mandatory modification, programs and alert service bulletins are incorporated or complied with as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements.
-Ensure that all statutory and Company's regulations and standards relating to the maintenance, alteration and inspection of engines and components are complied with and adhered to, and that any such work undertaken by the JV meet the standards required by the OEM, Regulatory and Customer.
-Responsible for unserviceable material review clinics. Develop new repairs and inspection limits to make hardware serviceable. Generate EAs/LEAs as necessary to support this activity.
-Coordinate with OEM, East Hartford Engineering and Technical Support to insure that Engine Center is utilizing the most current technical information.
-Develop process improvement through innovative setup reduction, work simplification, tools/equipment design/modifications.
-Responsible for the quality and productivity improvement and maintenance cost reduction initiatives.
-To prepare and maintain general instructions and work instructions within the processes of the repair areas/cells based on engine and component manufacturer's documentation.
-To find solutions to technical problems in connection with his/her responsibility field and to obtain approval from the authorities for any deviations from the manufacturer's documentation.
-Support of production and repair tooling.
-Support Purchasing and Quality to identify and regulate repair vendors and suppliers.
-To ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety initiates and to foster company ACE initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum: BS Degree in Engineering;
- Minimum 5 Years relevant experience and also have engine hardware experience or component repair experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in aircraft engine honeycomb repair development/implementation.

上海普惠飞机发动机维修有限公司(Shanghai Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engine Maintenance Co., Ltd. )

　　上海普惠飞机发动机维修有限公司由中国东方航空公司与美国联合技术公司旗下的普惠公司合资，于2007年11月6日正式成立，并于2009年9月正式开始生产。合资公司已取得中国CAAC维修执照、美国FAA维修执照。

　　合资公司设立在上海青浦出口加工区内，是华东地区一家飞机发动机维修服务中心，主要维修CFM56-5B、CFM56-3、CFM56-7型发动机，并逐步扩展到其他型号发动机。经营范围具体着眼于发动机及其相关零部件的MRO服务的开发与提供，包括发动机的进厂、拆散、技术检查、零部件及维修的外包与采购、组装、大修后的发动机的测试和交付，以及与之相关的所有规范工程、数据管理和行政管理等。合资公司将立足于中国东方航空公司在役发动机的修理，同时积极拓展中国国内和亚太地区的第三方发动机修理市场。

　　公司目前拥有150名左右正式员工和75名学徒工人，其中工程师和技师都有着丰富的发动机修理经验。公司组织架构分为工程、生产、质量、物料、设备、财务、人事等部门。设施全面投产后，每年将大修300台发动机，拥有大约600-800名员工。

　　合资公司将成为亚太地区提供发动机MRO服务的普惠“优秀中心”， 一个从事CFM56高压压缩机叶片维修（“HPC”）的“优秀中心”。
