Road and Pavement Engineering Business Developer
A foreign capital company specialized in road pavement industry of a worldwide top level
expertise of engineering and management, leader on its domestic market and which gets
customers in more than 40 countries in the world, is launching an ambitious development
program in China. This company commits itself to provide the best and the most advanced
products and services to transport infrastructures and operation managers.
In order to boost and sustain its fast business expansion in China, the company is setting up a marketing program for better understanding of its targeted markets and looking for interns to participate in the study of Chinese Road / Pavement Engineering Standards in comparison with European ones.

Major Missions and Responsibilities
We have a valued case for some study and research regarding pavement improving, based in Shanghai and lasting for around 3 months, major in:

- the difference between French and Chinese standards systems. First summarise the relative EN standards, list the purpose and relationsip between those standards, compare with Chinese GB/TB to see the systematic lack. Then compare several mahor standards to see the different in testing method & requirements
- the difference between French and China pavement applications (construction method, process, quality controls, etc.). Compare typical express way build processes to identify the differences in construction methodologies and processes, including methods for acceptance
- the difference between France and China concerning pavement maintenance methodologies at the design stage and at the operation stage.
Required Education Background and Professional Profile
University undergraduate students or Master students major in Road/Pavement Engineering, Materials Science. The candidate should be :

- passionate in comprehensive engineering approaches;
- of a good command of verbal and written English as well as Chinese, French is a plus;
