I. SHORT JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overall quality issues in regards of material blending. Assist QESH manager to maintain the quality system, examine the rationality, completeness & quality of the system's operating mechanism.

II. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

1.Main tasks
Responsible for the quality control on material blending
Support to develop qualified local supplier & lab
Lead and carry-out hands-on all relative material inspection and test
Monitor & support preparation and Implementation of inspection procedure
Drive continuous quality improvement, prevent the production and shipment of any defective products to customer
Liaise with customer for quality issues, handle quality complaint from customer
Generate monthly quality report by using statics methods

2.Supporting tasks
Assist QESH Manager in general functions
Work with logistic and production dept. to identify qualified product & cost reduction opportunities during the sampling and the production following the general materials Manufacturing process change approval rules (coordination with local Materials R&D group in case of identified changes)

III. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES

1.Education/studies
Bachelor degree
Materials engineering, material science, metal materials and related undergraduate degree or above

2.Professional experience
At least 2 years of eexperience on materials testing
Familiar with conventional metallic materials testing equipment and domestic/international testing standards
Material application to failure analysis capability
Detail understanding of quality assurance and controlling
Experience on surface engineering will be preferred
Quality system experience will be a plus

3.Further training and development
Quality & Material relative training

4.Miscellaneous
English, written and verbal
Good teamwork spirit and communication skills
Strong self-leaning skills
Good PC knowledge
Be willing work under challenge & pressure

Job requires a detail understanding of material blending process so as to realize the quality problem areas

Close co-operation with logistic & production & R&D people-Fully agree
Good contact to relative colleague overseas

Level of getting control
The supervisor has to be informed about extraordinary of quality problem and any customer complains;
Any quality improvement and implementation during manufacturing process in line with general materials approval process for any process changes

Control responsibility
Refer to Operational Organisation chart
Proposal of quality improvement according budget

Financial responsibility
Responsible for measuring equipment purchasing, verification, maintenance costs according to budget

Physical requirements
Good healthy
