Responsibilities· Support Senior Design Engineer to transfer product requirements from Product Manager to product specification· Make relevant technical solution for the new product design to meet the specification and cost requirements· Design of wheels, gear boxes· Support inquiries for drives· Calculate life time of bearing· Calculate data per drives systems: needed power, efficiency, gear ratio, drive and brake torgue· Responsible for mechanism concept design and relevant parts design as well. The products meet the relevant tests and approval. · Technical support when required.· Fully support company's vision, strategy, policy and regulation.· Others activities request from top management team.
General Requirements· Bachelor degree or above. Major in Mechanical Engineering or machinery design.· At least 5 years work experience of machinery and mechanical parts design. Crane components (wheels, gearmotor) design experience is preferred.· Familiar with production process, e.g. iron/ aluminum casting and machining of part.· knowledge in material handling applications· knowledge in gear calculation (no detailed knowledge)· design of casting parts· knowledge in producing the gears & motors· Knowledge about inverter· Knowledge about electrical motors (main asynchronous motors)· Work experience of crane industry is preferred.· Familiar with new product developing process is preferred.· Familiar with PRO-E software and relevant design tools.· Analyzing and problem solving skills.· Influence communication in English, oral and writing is preferred.· Team work sprit and interpersonal skills.· A quick learner. Be able to work under pressure.
