Responsibilities:
Qoros Auto Co., Ltd. is an independent joint venture, born in China but international and diversified in our approach and aspirations from the outset. We have outstanding and international leadership team with a clear strategy for our development and growth.
To support the continued growth in our organization, we are seeking professionals to join the Corporate Development Office, the strategic management branch within the organization. The main objective of the Corporate Development Strategy Manager is to manage the one of the company's main strategic deliverables, the strategic business plan, and ensure the validity and accuracy of other strategic deliverables to achieve overall organization's operational and financial success. Specifically, the corporate development strategy manager will:
§ Lead/coordinate with different functional team members to gather information to be used as the assumptions for the strategic business plan/model
§ Determine the financial implications of the strategic directions set by the company using the strategic business plan/model
§ Present the financial implications with the business leaders to determine whether strategic directions for the company shall be adjusted
§ Communicate with multiple levels and functions of team members within the organization, lead and coach functional peers and junior members as needed to achieve project objectives
§ Proactively seek and accomplish new and additional opportunities to add value to the corporate develop team and to the company as a whole
Skills/Qualifications:
§ Advanced degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering from a respected institution; MBA degree preferred; 2 to 3 years of consulting work experience also a plus
§ Excellent quantitative, and modeling/programming capabilities; experienced in working with financial models in excel, access; working capability with VB language
§ Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem solving capabilities, with ability to function at both the detail and conceptual level, and solve problems with minimum supervision
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to present ideas
§ Appropriate level of knowledge of operational and financial budgeting processes
