Responsibilities

The person will have the following responsibilities:

? In charge of assigned Exterior commodities sourcing activities to ensure meet timing, quality, engineering and cost requirement.
? Initiate and implement necessary purchasing projects, conduct supplier market research and evaluation, negotiate prices and capacities, handle all purchasing related issues, support report production, improve cost/production effectiveness;
? Implement regional purchasing strategy for Exterior commodity which includes assigned commodities and so on.
? Deal with all contracts related issues with the suppliers; Manage suppliers in terms of clear KPIs and continuous improvement of process.
? Develop timely purchasing actions in support of new and current programs.
? In coordination with Product Line Purchasing, constantly review and improve the material supply chain management;
? Take part in all business activities with suppliers and participate product conference;
? Act as a focal point of communication of commodity suppliers and team with Engineers and Quality Assurance optimized cost of designs and good quality of purchased components;

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in Business or Engineering.
? Minimum 5 years professional experience in the purchasing managerial position in an international manufacturing environment
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to interact with suppliers.
? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to construct and execute multiple complex analyses simultaneously.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
? Excellent manager at ease with matrix organizations
? Specialist of supplier management
? Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
? Strong communication skills and conviction power
? High negotiation skills
? Exceedingly well-organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and committed
? Good capacity for risk and financial analysis
? Good capacity for quality / cost analysis
? Good capacity of synthesizing
? Familiar with automotive related quality systems, such as TS 16949, ISO 9000, VDA 6.1;
? Deep knowledge of components sources, price trends and supplier base in China market. Proven experience in product costing, supplier evaluation and auditing, contract management skills and etc
