RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires the candidate to work with our geographically

distributed platform/tools team in the full software development cycle

including design, coding, testing and troubleshooting embedded

platform software modules including the loader/BSP, system bring-up

and peripheral device drivers. The candidate is also responsible for

writing technical documentation, design review, code review and

occasionally on-site customer support. An ideal candidate is expected

to be able to work on assignments on Linux kernel internals, code

optimizations and figuring out the optimal solutions to meet demanding

customer's requirements.

Education/Experience Requirement:

3+ years embedded software development experience

BSEE or Master, major in telecommunication, computer software or electronic engineering

Minimum Experience Required:

Strong C/C++ programming and troubleshooting;

Familiar with ARM CPU architecture.

Strong experience in Linux kernel and Uboot development

2+ years experience on Linux kernel development, good understanding of the embedded system architecture, and very familiar with Linux OS.

Solid experience in Linux driver development in flash, UART, Ethernet, SPI, etc.

Strong experience in Linux distribution/packaging.

Skill with one or more scripting languages. Shell/Perl/Python experience highly desired

Good interpersonal skills as a team player;

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Good English writing and speaking

Preferences:

Good Background on OpenWRT is a good plus.

Familiar with HW debug tools is a good plus.

Experiences in AMRv8 and MIPS processors are a big plus.

A master degree is preferred.
