Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

•Medium Voltage drives system architecture design including system overview parameters in product portfolio, competitor products investigation, system cooling solutions and key components spec definition, etc.

•Power Electronics Design Requirement definition including Power rating definition, overall solution proposal, etc.

•Medium voltage drives topology investigation, market positioning evaluation in product portfolio.

•Medium voltage drives localization including the specification, testing and documentation.

•New products or applications investigation and development including medium voltage drive design, the specification, supplier technical qualification, BoM creation, prototype assembly supporting, testing supporting and report, prototype review and documentation.

•Project Management like project scheduling, personnel arrangement, documentation.

•Communication with LDA HQ R&D and US R&D concerning the technique issues, cooperation, new products development and localization and personnel training etc.

•Support Engineering and Tech Quotation with system application solution.

•Involvement in ECR management and release.

•Involvement in commodity team activities.

•Collaborate with other department, e.g. Q, SP, Operation, CS, CE, Log, Commercial, for technical related issues if necessary.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Techniques:

•Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics.

•5 years R&D experience in power electronics, power conversion or related area.

•Knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Microsoft Office, Electrical simulation software, e.g. ANSYS Simplorer, Matlab etc.

•Basic knowledge electrical design on MV & HV equipment

•Familiar with electrical components selection and application

•Basic knowledge of AC Motor & VFD application

•Basic knowledge of MV switchgear design and application

•Familiar with the related standards, including IEC, IEEE and GB, etc.

•Excellent time management skills
