Main responsibilities

· Responsible for the technical and engineering design and daily operation within the specific projects area.

· Contributing to each project in relation to schedule, contractual obligations and realization of documentation

· Responsible for Technical support and coordination with customers

· Responsible for following set up QA plan for each project and ensured compliance.

· Responsible of technical part in preparation of tender/quotation

· Keep updated on all applicable domestic and international rules and regulations

· Understand all the contracts and obligations related to projects and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and WTS position is protected

· Negotiate and settle change orders and variation claims with shipyard together with Sales engineer/Manager

· Work actively and closely to reduce operating costs and cost of material

· Know WTS quality policy and take active part in implementing the quality system

· Report and follow up non-conformance, follow up and resolve customers’ complaints

· Responsible for up keeping good HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) practices as laid out by the company

· Ensure that project schedule, targets and plans are followed and are in compliance with the customers’ contract in respective to engineering

· Ensure objective control and reporting of activities affecting quality, costs other engineering related issues.

· Ensure availability of reports to the Project Manager and corrective actions are taken to achieve contractual obligations

· Ensuring that all actions relating to projects are carried out in accordance with the company’s standards

· Contribute to the monitoring of subcontractors’ performance and competitiveness.

Accountabilities

· Completion of all engineering project milestones by due dates with project completion to agreed technical level.

· Contributing to the development of the engineering department.

Qualifications

· Education background: Degree in HVAC-R or comparable experience.

· Good command of the English language, both oral and written

· Possess understanding, analytical and decision making skills

· Good knowledge on the use of common IT tools

· Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities

· Self-motivated, high energy, possess initiative, responsible and proactive

· Team oriented and able to work independently

· Willing to travel when needed

· Outgoing personality with good communication and social skills

· AutoCad skills

· Result oriented and co-operative

Additional preferences

· Knowledge of HVAC-R drawing application based on AutoCAD
