Job Description

Job summary:

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Take responsibility in the expanding China team for software development of HMI (Human Machine Interface), residential controls and heating control units;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Execute software development work packages;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Active role as a developer working in an Agile team;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Break-down projects into specific work-packages and estimate required effort to define necessary resources;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Ensure Software Quality throughout the various development and release phases.

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Communicate and collaborate with local and international teams of developers and testers;

Tasks:

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Develop or coordinate with development partners Software for HMI and controls on embOS or RTOS platform for embedded devices;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Collaborate and coordinate technical activities with a global Bosch development team;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Define and perform test cases of your developed solutions to guarantee failure free operation of the system;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Work directly with customers to develop SW solutions based on use cases, requirements engineering, technical feasibility studies;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Independent requirement analysis for software considering the customer needs;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Ensure the technical path defined will meet all customer specifications;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Team work – also cross-departmental - for the improvement of software development processes and methods;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Maintain active network with community of SW Engineers in other locations worldwide to ensure knowledge share and up to date development tools and competencies.

Qualifications

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ University degree of Software engineering or Computer science;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Good skills in embedded C/C++ programming

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Development experience on communication protocols I2C, SPI, UART, MODBUS, OpenTherm, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Knowledge in Standard ALM methods and tools, and Agile development environments (Jira, Jenkins, etc.);

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Excellent English communication skills with local and international teams and self-confidence;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Previous experience in working in Agile & Scrum product development environment and tools;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Analytical and cross-divisional thinking with an outside the box problem solving approach;

?？？？？？？？？？？？？？？？ Available for local and international travel.
