Job Description:

  

 

  

Supervise and coordinate Production Department in the manufacture of products in accordance with the strategic and tactical goals of the company. Ensure safety, quality, and cost goals are met, and adhere to all environmental and quality system policies and practices.

  

 

  

Supervise employees in a manufacturing environment including: plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, recommend improvements on processes, equipment, and operating procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

  

 

  

 

  

Core Responsibilities: 

  

 

  

• Utilize resources of the plant to reach the goals of production to support customer requirements. Achieve production goals within budget while meeting the safety, quality, delivery and cost standards of company;
• Execute the production schedule as planned by the Planning and Purchasing Manager in an efficient and optimal manner;
• Address and communicate any issues with concerned department to resolve them in a timely manner to mitigate impact on production;
• Review and manage scrap process with process engineer. Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap rate;
• Pay attention to employees’ fluctuation, implement regular training, and manage OT status to improve work efficiency;
• Implement and maintain 5S management and cooperate with EHS department to fulfill the task assigned;
• Provide the production support to other departments if needed.

  

 

  

 

  

Qualifications: 

  

 

  

·         College in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field;

·         3+ years’ supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment, wire and cable or similar industry experience preferred;

·         Strong organizational ability and management skills;

·         Be familiar with MRP system, etc.;

·         Occasional travel required.
