Position Objectives and Summaries:

1.     The Legal Counsel will be a member of Marelli China legal team with primary focus on managing and counselling commercial contracts and labor issues relating to the business operation of certain business units of Marelli China

2.     The Legal Counsel will work closely with other Marelli China legal team members and will report to Marelli China legal head

3.     The Legal Counsel may join in Marelli worldwide legal practicing group and will be subject to additional or change in responsibilities

Location:

1.     Marelli China Pudong Office  俱进路685号(regularly)

Responsibilities

1.  Reviewing, drafting, validation, negotiation and management of a wide range of contracts and legal documents

2.  Rendering legal advice on a wide range of legal matters

3.  Managing and settling labor issues/disputes

4.  Presentation of legal analysis, conclusions, solutions, reports and summaries

5.  Supervising, coordinating and validating internal approval processes

6.  Supervising services of external law firms  

7.  Conducting legal training

8.  Following up Chinese legislation and sharing information with Marelli group legal team

9.  Other works assigned by the Marelli China legal head from time to time

Requirements 1, LLB degree or above from a recognized law school; PRC lawyer qualification preferred 2, Minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience in a law firm or in a similar in-house position; candidates with a good mixture of in-house and law firm experience preferred 3, Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese and Chinese; proficiency in English is preferred   4, Business minded solution provider with good communication and interpersonal skills 5, Accountable and resilient when faced with challenges and difficulties 6, Confident in leading and managing projects and complex assignments

7, Ability and willingness to learn and cooperate
