Reporting to: Regional Finance Controller – After Sales
Main Responsibilities:
? Existing Distribution Center in Shanghai
?Financially responsible of Shanghai Distribution (MOPIC) Center, i.e., financial reporting of P&L, B/S and cash flow;
?Allocate properly different ledgers within MOPIC P&L according to business nature, China Business, Other China GD, ASEAN GDs, etc.,
?Perform Variance analysis (VLY, VOP) and Walk analysis (Sales Walk, Margin Walk)
?Liaise with MOPIC operation team in annual business planning process
?Implement adequate control on distribution center in terms of inventory management, e.g., take lead in physical inventory, coordinating with financial consultants/auditors
?Maintain healthy cash level at the site
?Take lead in projects in reducing time meeting APAC reporting needs / improving accuracy, promoting automation in templates, etc.
? Assist ASEAN for its reporting, budgeting and Business Planning Development
?Work with ASEAN Finance Controller in fulfilling above mentioned tasks
? Potential New Distribution Center in APAC
?Build business case for new distribution center in APAC
Understand and validate logic and supporting provided by operation team
?Implement suitable finance control for the distribution center; establish financial reporting structure and process
? Warranty
?Assist in establishing a regional warranty reporting system outlining the drivers of warranty expense by nature and frequency of events
?Participate in warranty expense reduction projects
?Interview with countries/markets to understand local warranty practices and variance against global warranty guidelines
Qualification & Experiences:
? Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent; a Master’s degree is preferred;
? 8+ years' working experience with 4+ years in FP&A or Business Analysis;
? Exposure to Asia Pacific region or global business is preferred;
? Strong business acumen with good analytical and presentation skills;
? Good communication and inter-person skills;
? A strong team leader, with high level of integrity;
? Proficient in both written and oral English.
Location: Shanghai, China
Target Compensation:
The starting compensation will depend upon, among others, the individual’s experience, qualifications and current earnings.
