Aside form being a leading studio and creative space in Shanghai, we are a one-stop shop of industry professionals creating digital media assets & custom experiences servicing brands and the wider the professional industry. We’re expanding our marketing department to create relevant, thoughtful and inspiring content across our channels.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team.

As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for telling our story, engaging with our community and managing our brand’s image. This will be done by taking a journalistic approach to creating both copy and visuals and publishing content across all our current social media and communicationschannels. As our business needs grow, you will also assist in exploring and developing new channels. Think of the role as being a journalist, editor, brand agent and community manager. Your communication and engagement will represent the voice of Central Studios as it contributes to the creative community of Shanghai and China.

As part of our marketing department, you will be the main driver in producing our in-house content, so you will also need a technical background and understanding of the platforms to which we publish.

JOB OUTLINE

? Manage and execute a consistent social media calendar by consistently maintaining, publishing and engaging across all of our digital channels including our website, WeChat, Weibo, Instagram and other social media channels.

Write and edit original“on-brand” content in simplified Chinese and English for our Official WeChat Account. Content will be centered around photography, fashion, events and our studio offerings, with a mix of in-house stories and a focus on the wider creative community.

Work with the studio team topromote our services and events.

 Manage social media performance data and KPI dashboard to measure social activity effectiveness; Review the results and share management for enhancement and optimizations.

 Curate & optimize visual content for eachchannel - image editing, formatting and creating visually appealing stories

 Able to follow design layout templates and understand how to apply branding guidelines.

 You will report to the Marketing Director and be responsible for managing weekly internal updates and planning meetings.

TO SUCCEED AT THIS JOB YOU SHOULD HAVE:

 At least 2+ years in a similar position and relevant industry experience

 Excellent Chinese and English language skills both written and oral. Ability to translate between the two languages and write in a professional voice.

 Strong Wordpress and WeChat back end experience with a deep knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere as well as HTML / H5 know how.

 Have a good eye for photography and design, ideally with practical experience creating images and video.

 Be proactive and can work autonomously

 Be able to plan and project manage while following strict deadlines

 Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners all around the world and in China.

 A working knowledge of the China and the international media / social media landscape

 Hold a university degree

 Have a pulse on what’s happening across the arts, music, fashion and technology sectors ensuring our projects are internationally relevant while embracing the culturally sensitivity of the local market.

为每个频道策划和优化视觉内容-图像编辑、排版和创建具有视觉吸引力的故事。

能够遵循设计模板，并了解如何应用品牌参考。

您将向市场总监报告，并负责管理每周的内部更新和计划会议。

职位要求：

2年以上类似职位和相关行业经验。

良好的中英文书写和口头表达能力。能在两种语言之间进行翻译，并能用专业的语调写作。

丰富的Wordpress和微信后端经验，对设计技术、工具和原理有深入的了解，包括Photoshop、Illustrator、Premiere以及HTML/H5专有技术。

对摄影和设计具有良好审美，有制作图像和视频的实际经验优先。

积极主动，能够自主工作。

能够在严格的期限内完成计划和项目管理工作。

能够与国内外的合作伙伴进行有效沟通。

了解中国和国际媒体/社交媒体领域。

拥有大学以上学位。
