As Verification Engineer for Advanced Driving Assistance (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD), you will be responsible for verifying and analysing the functionality and performance of Zenuity’s features at Zenuity China (based out of Shanghai with frequent travels to Ningbo). You will be the effective link in verification and tuning activities with partners, colleageus in China, and with the teams in US and Europe. As such, the role combines technical and functional knowledge, with communication, coordination and interaction skills.

Tasks

Your responsibility comprises:

o   Verify the functionality and performance of Zenuity SW features, on resimulated data in the data center in China

o   Analyze likely causes of problems and improvement opportunities

o   Communicate effectively with Zenuity colleagues in US to provide KPI results, logs, data, analysis and suggestions on improvements. Where applicable, implement improvements

o   Be involved in verification and tuning of SW features in-vehicles.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should have …

o   Strong technical background as software developer, engineer or architect in fields of embedded software.

o   Experience and knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, particularly with focus on steering support and semi-autonomous driving features

o   Knowledge of verification using HIL and SIL

o   Strong analytical skills and experienced in analyzing large data sets

o   Knowledge of technical tools such as Matlab and Simulink and requirement tools such as SystemWeaver or Doors. It is also seen as an advantage to be familiar with Python or Perl scripting, Signal analysis tools such as CANoE.

o   Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to interact in a multicultural environment

o   Strong coordination, facilitation and pedagogical skills. Being able to handle communication and facilitiation of issues between several parties

o   Enjoy working in an international organization and possess experience of working in both Chinese and US or European environments and cultures

o   Knowledge of agile methodologies

o   Experience and knowledge of regulations and standards for steering support features

In addition we believe you meet the following requirements:

o   Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

o   Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably from the automotive industry

o   Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and orally

o   Driver license for personal vehicles in China
