Job Title: Supply Inventory Planner

Location: Shanghai

The Position:

1. Responsible for the short-term Supply and Inventory Planning Processes. You will plan and schedule short term production and be in close contact with the manufacturing team. You will lead supply meetings with a focus on upcoming supply changes, supply shortages or excess supply that will impact customer demand.

2. You are accountable for establishing and controlling optimum product inventory levels and manage stock health based on set inventory plans, demand plan, agreed service levels and the supply strategy.

3. Manage short-term purchasing activities by being in permanent contact with the external suppliers and internally with the Purchasing and Manufacturing departments.

4. Identify, define, drive and lead key actions to enhance the supply planning processes and ensure consistency of planning data. Interface on operations issues with remote and local business supply chain staff, manufacturing & commercial teams.

5. Support and initiate initiatives to continually improve processes, inventory levels, performance and to optimize operational costs through all stages of the supply chain process.

The Ideal:

1. A bachelor or master degree in Supply Chain management or a related field.

2. A certificate in APICS is a plus.

3. Highly organized, strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent communication skills - written and oral, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

5. A positive and structured person who can cope with stressful situations.

6. Used to work in a multi-national & diverse work environment.

7. Experience in MS Excel and ability to combine and analyze data from multiple sources is a plus.

8. Experience utilizing ERP for planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment and experience in working with an advanced planning system would be an advantage.

9. Fluent in Chinese and English.
