As a Responsible Sourcing Analyst you will be part of a team that is evolving the responsible sourcing oversight function that allows us to be a progressive force for good. 

  

You will utilize your subject matter expertise in Target’s Standard of Vendor Engagement and industry schemes and national laws and regulations to manage the audit intake process and post audit process and quality review to support Target’s oversight program.  You will support communication to business partners and internal stakeholders related to oversight, trends and performance information. 

  

• You will utilize your subject matter expertise in Target’s Standard of Vendor Engagement and national laws and regulations to manage compliance to human rights and environmental compliance

• Research and maintain a working knowledge of national laws and regulations to enable consistency and credibility through the oversight process in managing our global supply chain

• Develop expertise with industry schemes to understand data structure related to occupational health & safety, human rights, environmental compliance

• Review, interpret and intake scheme reporting to report social and environmental performance to Target

• Manage the corrective action process and escalate to internal partners to ensure capability building or risk mitigation can be properly applied

• Maintain high quality to ensure credible data for macro trend reporting and analytics

• Collaborate with business integration and supply chain management teams to report on performance and sustainability efforts

• Self-manage workload to ensure timely review and processing to enable sourcing and production.  Communicate and escalate workload

• Support calibration activities internally and with 3rd parties to ensure consistent interpretation and adherence to national and local law

  About you:

                            

• 4 year degree or equivalent

• 3-5 years of experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, clear communications and scenario building. 

• Strategic and conceptual thinking with the ability to plan, organize and execute.

• Understanding of how to interpret data to make decisions and build stories that influence action and drive result

• Respects, appreciates and is curious about differences related to working with others; committed to fostering an inclusive team

   

  DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations

• Ability to speak more than one language (e.g. Mandarin)

• Proficiency in MS Office Applications
