Job Description:

  

• Your primary duty as an Art & Design Lecturer will be your active leadership in the classroom as well as engaging/ lecturing relevant creative arts related subjects in FUNDAMENTALS OF TYPOGRAPHY, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY and using computer assisted tools and software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, 2D Animation, 3DS Max, MAYA, LightWave etc.

  

• Working closely with the school’s Academic Director/ Program Director regarding academic matters in teaching and grading.

• Developing proper department course outline and contents to a high quality education to all students in order for them to attain high achievements within their major study and prepare them well for further studies portfolio submission; or for the job market and the industry.

• To create and maintain the course materials and good status of all these information.

• Assist in maintaining general classroom discipline, stability, integrity, and professional image of the UCA Shanghai Center.

• Abide by the Center’s policy and procedures.

          

Job Requirement：

  

• Candidate will be based in Shanghai and be able to commit to 6 – 18 hours classes per week.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/ Computer Graphics/ Game Design/ Animation, with a specialty in using computer software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, 2D Animation, 3DS Max, MAYA, LightWave etc.)

• Relevant industry working experience with credible related art and design/ graphics design/ game and animation design portfolios.

• With lecturing experience on the above related studies. Candidates without relevant teaching experience will also be considered provided they have good number of years working experience in the relevant creative arts industry.

• Can adapt to a multi-cultural setting with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to handle students of different art capabilities.
