Accountability and Objectives

? He / She has to be able to successfully complete or support projects of discrete complexity, which envisage the simultaneous and integrated use of electronic technologies.
He / She is responsible to:
? Design the hardware electronic motor controller for power tools and battery products.
? Manage the cables harness design for the complete range of STIGA products.
? Prepare engineering specifications for product development.
? Support the Electronic & Battery Technology Leader in the management of complex part groups.
? Contribute actively to the fulfillment of the project targets, in terms of product performances, quality and timing


Key Responsibilities

? Design electronic hardware to meet specified requirements.
? Design PCB or supervise PCB layout.
? Bring up and debug prototypes.
? Release design to production.
? Support validation during testing.
? Resolve technical and validation issues.
? Review and analysis of system requirements, evaluating designs.
? Collaborate with development partners and contract manufacturers (domestically and worldwide)


Skills & qualifications
Experience:
? Consolidated experience of 4/5 years in the role gained in technical offices, in structuring companies operating in the design of machines or consumer products.
In detail, experienced in the:
? Automotive electronics hardware design.
? Circuit simulation.
? Work hands-on in the lab to evaluate/test/analyze/fix design prototypes.
? Any experience also in the design of battery-powered products will be positively evaluated.
? Experience in standards and compliance process management.

Knowledge:

? Good knowledge with Altium and/or Mentor/Cadence design software
? Project document management (PDM - PLM);
? Good knowledge of Office packages in particular for what concerns the use of spreadsheets and word processing;
? Basic knowledge of Project Management will be positive evaluated.

Languages:
? Knowledge of English is mandatory.
? A further language knowledge is appreciated
