ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties. This position will assist CMO for following duties:

• Represent Cepheid assays and technology in various formats to stakeholders at different levels. Formats include but not limited to oral presentations, written documents, webinars, and videos. Levels include internal groups such as
  Sales, Marketing, and Tech Support, and external groups such as regional, national, and international scientific meetings, key open leaders, professional organizations and prospective customers.
• Assist and undertake Marketing’ Client Education and Device Promotion symposiums, CME activities and workshops.
• Initiate and support Cepheid/Danaher device-related External Clinical Researches and Outcome Studies.
• Provide input to China Roadmap for product development and strategy for the Cepheid/Danaher
  Diagnostic Platform.
• Work with Diagnostic Innovation Center partners to identify potential investment Acquisition and Partnership in China and globally.
• Interact directly with customers with regard to product performance queries, clinical relevance, application niches and discrepant result interpretation.
• Prepare documents for Quality or Regulatory review as needed to satisfy Regulatory body requirements.
• Prepare and/or review customer-facing documents including Guidelines and Technical Bulletins, product inserts, and training materials independently or together with relevant professional associations in China.
• Engage with Clinical Affairs to assist and optimize clinical trials activities and with Marketing to help identify key open leaders and shape messaging.
• Provide clinical experience and science knowledge to assist R&D and Core Teams at all stages of assay development and optimization.
• Work with Proficiency Test (PT) providers and Clinical Diagnostic Centers at national and provincial levels to optimize performance of challenges in Cepheid/Danaher tests and investigate failures of these tests on PT
  challenges.
• Identify and enlist input from experts in the field. Assist to establish and maintain the Cepheid/Danaher Scientific Advisory Board.
• Write company-based articles, white papers, newsletters, and assist external investigators and collaborators in study design and publication activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

• Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent degree from medical school. Additional MSc or PhD of related biomedical or life science is preferred.
• Excellent English skills in speaking, reading and scientific writing.
• Five years relevant experience.
