Key Responsibilities:

Coordination and Planning

• In coordination with the wider operations team for ancillary / sub-contract services, develop and implement an effective production plan that ensures the most efficient use of available production resources, respects the Project team / clients needs on completion (PE) dates, and actively works with the wider business team to implement actions to overcome bottlenecks in the production processes.

Management

• To provide strong and effective management of the production team, ensuring individual performance is measured, recorded and assessed to meet the financial, improvement and strategic goals of the business
• Ensure the approved work rules and policies are managed and applied effectively within the production team, and that disciplinary step are instigated when appropriate
• To actively manage the working patterns of the production team to ensure maximum effort and throughput is maintained with the most cost effective working structuress.
• To manage a formal daily production meeting that will focus on ensuring both client and wider business goals are achieved through effective problem solving, improvement implementation, and time-mangement of resource.

Human Resource Development

• To identify and actively support on the recruitment needs, training, performance management, and disciplinary needs of the production team to support overall business strategy and needs
•  To actively support on the development of motivation system and schemes that will positively add to both employee work satisfaction and will meet the wider business strategic and financial goals.

Quality Control / Assurance

• To ensure all production related quality needs and inspection is actively managed, maintained and recorded in line with the responsibilities detailed in the QS control plans

 Record keeping and performance Improvement

• Ensure that effective improvement activities required locally or by group, as well as required production records are implemented, developed and maintained within the production team, and that timely reporting is made on actual performance of the production team and wider department, to support the strategic needs of the business and to acheieve specific management demands

Health, Safety and 5S

• To ensure all regulatory and company Health and Safety standards, systems and measures are respected, maintained and, as required, recorded by the production department team.
• To actively support on the effective implementation, training, compliance and maintenance of the current and any future system of 5S that is developed by the company.

Qualification

• More than ten years’ experiences in manufacturing field
• More than five years’ experiences as production manager
• Be able to motivate employees, good leadship and executive ability.
• Familiar with the complete sequence of production including planning, resupply, resource allocation, quality control, packing and delivery
• Implement company issued production plan, complete production task with good quality
• Bachelor‘s degree in science or technology
• Good in oral and written English
• Good computer skills
