The EHS Supervisor is responsible for driving the development and improvement of a world class EHS Program for our Shanghai manufacturing site.  Traditional responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining EHS compliance assurance, implementation of EHS Programs, closely working with site management and employees to identify and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing activities at MD Shanghai, ensure a safe and health working environment by developing sustainable EHS Management Systems and processes.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Ensure the onsite EHS compliance management in terms of strictly and timely following applicable EHS regulation requirements for operation activities by building up and maintaining related robust EHS processes;

·         Monitor and ensure the all applicable EHS permits/certificates/approvals are valid in place

·         Ensure the EHS objectives to be met, track the near miss from each area to ensure risk mitigation and control, monthly reporting to corporate, and local site management

·         Plan and develop effective EHS training, apply tool 4E and best EHS practice to manufacturing team and factory.

·         Serve as liaison between site and EHS regulatory agencies, track and manage effective and efficient service of EHS consultants or agencies.

·         Organize periodic audits and inspections of facilities and operations to assure the compliance with company policies and legal and regulatory and follow up corrective and preventive action.

·         Propose the EHS yearly budget and ensure it is well managed.

·         Be proactively drive continuous EHS improvements in the plant.

·         Travel will be required to other sites to oversee EHS program development, participate in Danaher Corporate EHS audits and to resolve any issues as needed.

·         Be involve in any emergency case related EHS and facility, interface with management at all levels to develop the sound and effective solutions to address the issue.

Qualifications:

·         A diploma’s degree or above in Engineering or equivalent

·         More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and EHS

·         Experience in the manufacturing of biological testing instrument is preferred

·         Proven track-record of personnel performance and functional management

·         Planning and organizational skills.

·         Good analytical problem-solving skills

·         Good written and verbal English communication skills are required
