Overall Responsibilities:
 

• Participate and support Ford’s transactions, deals, cooperation projects and other growth plan;
• Provide legal support to the business operations of Ford China, including Nanjing R&D center in Nanjing and Taiwan Region;  
• Work closely with various business functions, including business strategy, product development, HR, government affairs, etc.;
• Provide legal advice and analysis on autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, data and privacy, etc.;
• Draft, interpret and assist to enforce corporate procedures and policies;
• Draft, review, and translate legal documents in both Chinese and English;
• Conduct legal research and analysis in connection with the assigned working responsibility;
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

 
Qualification Requirements:
 

• Undergraduate from a reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred;
• A law degree from an Anglo-American jurisdiction strongly preferred;
• Minimum 4 years’ legal professional experience in multinational corporations or reputable law firms; experiences in both preferred;
• Experience in compliance, data privacy and/or employment law preferred;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese; capable of drafting legal documents in both languages;
• Well-organized and be able to work on his/her own under pressure and within tight deadlines;
• Passage of the Judicial Exam in the PRC;
• Quick learner having good analytical skills;
• Good problem solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints;
• Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.
