Job Purpose:

The CCB KYC PEQ team is an AML/KYC support and control function within the Citi Commercial bank responsible for the due diligence and approval of the KYC Record and associated documentation in partnership with Relationship Management and Compliance.

The unit is tasked with conducting quality control reviews across CCB clientele. The program will engage stakeholders and provide formalized defect reporting and feedback with continuous training and communications on a monthly basis to senior management/stakeholders involved in the accounts approval process lifecycle with the objective of improving overall client due diligence accounts approval process quality & reduce lifecycle processing time.          

Key Responsibilities

   v  Conduct end to end post approval reviews of allocated KYC Records ( All client types) v  Capture findings as per defined format on a timely basis. Accurate information is also necessary v  Identify top action areas and work on root cause analysis v  Ensure necessary information is received from end users and end to end feedback loop closing v  Basis on RCA and Feedback loop process, engage with stakeholders and implement changes to improve quality v  Ensure all metrics are updated and released on time v  Document each and every process of quality control. Follow document maintenance process v  Ensure RCA standards and procedures are set and followed consistently v  Oversee improvements process and ensure necessary support/intervention v  Develop and follow L&D plan. Take charge of all QC communications v  Ensure all procedures, checklist and process maps are implemented and accurately describe the established processes v  Conduct root cause analysis within the overall client due diligence accounts approval process lifecycle by identifying & analyzing areas of common defect/issues/themes v  Propose appropriate corrective action plan and best practices recommendations for identified issues through the continuous improvement process (CIP) v  Review Compliance feedback to ensure continuous improvements v  Assist with the preparation for audits – both internal and external regulatory reviews v  Assist with department projects / initiatives as requested           

Knowledge/Experience:

v  A proven track record with at least 5-7 years of relevant KYC/AML experience (i.e. Quality Assurance, Client Onboarding, Compliance, Audit and Regulatory)

v  Knowledge and experience of the technologies and processes used in Citigroup would be highly advantageous

v  Demonstrated experience of optimization in processes (legal/regulatory adherence an advantage)

v  Knowledge of AML policies and regulatory requirements

v  Considerable experience of dealing with senior management in a multi-function environment
