Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Manage software product delivery and continuous improvement. Coordinate with global product Manager, UX team, application architect team and internal developers to define product architecture and strategy
• Resource and project roadmap planning. Validate and manage project scope, closely work with developers discussing designs, implementation and project milestones
• Resolve project issues, communicate status and coordinate activities with peer teams across geographies
• Be an advocate for getting solid designs and implementations incorporated into the product
• Oversee the delivery of designs and projects within budget, schedule and quality guideline
• Team management, coaching, motivating and mentoring team and help team on their career development

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related areas
• 10 - 15 years of professional experiences with at least 5 years hands-on in some
  
  
  
  • High level programming language e.g. Java, C++
  • J2EE, Linux/Apache development
  • OO-based design and development
  • Database design and programming (Oracle/Sybase/MySQL)
• Advanced knowledge of 3 tier web applications including Web/MVC Frameworks such as GWT, Spring MVC in additional to XML, XSL and JavaScript engines
• 5 years experiences in high traffic ecommerce or B2C internet company
• Demonstrable track record of delivering successful web applications with particular emphasis in managing SOA, API development
• Experiences with building or leading team on building platform software stacks is strongly desired
• Experiences with web and Spring Applications framework is huge plus.
• 5 years in management role
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote team across geographies and time zone is essential
• Ability to inspire, motivate and care for employees while looking out for company viability
• Strong organizational, people management, project management and customer interaction skills
• Effectively work across multiple functions and geographies.
• Strong communication. Fluent English (Verbal & Writing).
