职位描述
Job Responsibility:
Package EE Components such as ECU's, Harnesses, and Retaining Features with criteria such as Assembly requirements, Vehicle Manufacturing, Hand and Tool Clearance, Thermal Characteristics and other Packaging requirements. Design Shrouds Brackets and Protective Coverings. Develop Package Studies and Feasibility Studies to assist other groups as needed.
- Collect and analyze technical requirements from customer and Suppliers
- Write specifications for EE Components such as Brackets
- Concept design and develop for Brackets, Shrouds and protective Coverings
- Packaging study, homologation investigate, Tooling Feasibility
- Work with Styling department for feasibility analysis of Packaging EE Parts
- Master section concept design & criteria
- 3D model design and 2D drawing export with CATIA V5, STEP, IGES
- Work with OEM together to manage related suppliers (tooling supplier, integration system supplier, etc.)
- Vehicle testing together with cooperated departments
- Support prototype vehicle build up
- Analyze failures and prepare failure reports, prepare proposals with suppliers together to close open issues
- Work with Module Group Leader together to prepare regular reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above
- Electrical / Mechanical, electronics, automotive packaging
- At least 4 years experience on automotive design with a focus on packaging
- Familiar with Chinese standards and regulations for automotive (familiar with European standards and regulations preferred)
- Familiar with Materials, Plastics, Sheet Metal, Attachment Schemes, GDT, Connectors, Standard Parts and Fasteners, etc...
- Capable of designing and analyzing EE Packaging (2D drawing, 3D drawing)
- Proficiency on the computer and engineering development applications for lighting system design (CATIA, AutoCAD, etc...)
- Good MS office skills: excel, word, power point, etc...
- Good understanding of Human Factors, Ergonomics
- Supplier management experience
- Self-motivation, open mind, good communication skills
- Good Chinese and English language skills: read, write, listen and speak
