Job Description:

The candidate will lead and conduct Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) studies in support of drug discovery/development programs. She/he will be an integral member of highly collaborative Pharmacology and DMPK/Bioanalysis Department focused on method development and PK analysis of biologics in plasma samples.

Responsibilities:

? Manage a bioanalytical lab and keep the instruments running properly;

? Design, conduct, interpret and report bioanalytical method development and sample analysis using LC/MS/MS;

? Conduct enzymatic assays and in vitro/ex vivo drug metabolism studies, including liver microsome stability testing in different species, cytochrome P450 inhibition, hepatocyte metabolism, and metabolite identification, etc;

? Conduct PK/PD modeling using Phoenix WinNonlin software and write PK reports to support drug discovery /development efforts at Bioduro;

? Address and resolve scientific issues arising in drug discovery/development programs;

? Interact with multidisciplinary teams (including chemists, toxicologists and clinical managers) to meet project goals and timelines;

? Communicate unambiguous critical and significant project information to various bodies including project teams and Bioduro leadership as required.

? Experience with PK/PD modeling using Phoenix WinNonlin software- Desirable;

? Desire to learn new techniques and participate in cutting-edge projects- Essential;

? Strong problem solver who is highly organized with the ability to thrive and to lead in an environment with rapidly changing priorities- Essential;

? Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team setting/matrix-type organization- Essential;

? Excellent oral and written communication capabilities- Essential.
