Our Shanghai office is further developing our Asia team because of the growing business. Job title: Product development merchandiser
Basic job requests:
1.University graduate
2.minimum 5 years experience in textiles
3.with strong fabric (both knit and woven) background (knowing fabric technique ,washing, dying printing well)
4.keen understanding of US main stream sportswear /workwear
5.Excellent English in speaking and writing.
6.with good resources of fabric and trim mills.
7.willing to travel
8.Good communication skill (able to communicate efficiently to get fabric, trim and sample development done correctly and in time). Team-player.
9.Proficiency in PC skill (MS word & excel...)
10.independent, hardworking and self-motivated

Job Responsibilities:
1. Understand the T/P and requests /trends from the buyers
2. Pass the buyers' needs to the factories in a efficient way to get fabric/trims/garment developed correctly and in time.
3.Follow up the product development .
4.Communicate with the buyers
5. Report to the manager of the development status.
