Main Descriptions:

Develops nutritional supplements in different delivery forms including capsules, tablets, powder drinks, liquid drink etc. Develops new or modified process formulations and specifications, defines processing or handling equipment requirements, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from theoretical formulation to pilot plant and full-scale manufacturing. Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. May conceive and plan projects involving equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing of products or development of new or improved processes. Part of a Cross Functional Management Team that services a particular market or Regional needs. Serve as team lead or manager of resources such as pilot facilities.

Job Qualifications:

1.Degree of Dr. and above are preferred with major in Food sciences, Nutrition, Chemistry, plant chemistry, medical chemistry or relevant areas.

2.5~8 years working experience with China Healthy Food development preferred.

3.Proficiency with scientific and development method

4.Organizational and documentation skills for planning and executing activities to generate prototypes of products

5.Analyze and interpret data

6.Extensive knowledge of algebra and formulation calculations

7.Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality assurance protocols.

8.Superior knowledge of computers and software and capable of quickly learning use of job specific software

9.Excellent technical writing

10.Interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross functional teams and contract manufacturing organizations.

11.Experience serving as mentor or lead for department personnel
