Project buyer

Report to Procurement Director Wfsiasia

Main Responsibilities:

1.Establish and optimize indirect procurement work procedures and policies.

2.Plan and analyze the choice of suppliers in regard to quality, costs, and reliability and establish the qualified supplier list.

3.Assist to establish indirect material purchasing strategy.

4.Work with project team and EPCM company to establish non-material purchasing plans.

5.Responsible for continuous improvement of indirect procurement procedures in terms of complexity reduction, reliability and speed.

6.Responsible for organizing and implementing daily indirect material procurement, including but not limited to contract negotiation and signing, order making, delivery tracking and other special requirements.

7.System data maintenance.

8.Problem shooting and solution, claim settlement.

9.Cost saving of indirect material purchase.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

1.Bachelor degree or above.

2.At least 3 years non-material purchasing experience.

3.Solid experience in sourcing, and orders follow up with global organization module .

4.Excellent time management skills and ability to work with tight deadlines .

5.Good mechanical knowledge.

6.Fluency in both Mandarin and English and good computer skills.

7.Good communication and negotiation and problem-solving skills.

8.High levels of attention to detail.

9.Good interpersonal skills to contact directly overseas suppliers.

10.Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded, responsible & able to work independently.

11.Travelling in China is required
