The Position

  

 

  

Reporting to the Solution Project Dept. Manager, the Senior E&ICA engineer will be responsible for the electrical and control systems design and suppliers’ selection during tender stage and project execution. Her/His main responsibilities will comprise the following:

  

 

  

Tender stage

  

• Read the URS from Proposal Manager to understand the requirement from client

• Working with process proposal team, support to prepare E&ICA section of bid documents, including: general system description, equipment list and specification, I/O list, single-line diagrams and deviation list

• Evaluate the technical proposal from EICA supplier to make sure the cost competition and technical reliability

• Development of a database.

• Support to prepare detailed cost estimation of equipment supply and installation

• Prepare basic schematic electrical drawings

   

  Execution stage

• Within defined the project schedule, responsible for the preparation of detailed design for electrical and control systems(HMI, SCADA), panel drawings and data sheets, cable trays, instrumentation, etc

• Assist in preparing functional description, based on control philosophy prepared by process engineer.

• Prepare electrical drawings required during electrical and controls design to support the Senior E&ICA engineer

• Preparation of EICA validation doc(HDS, SDS, HTS, STS)

• Quality Checking and Test for EICA Panel and software including HMI, SCADA/DCS system

• Charge in PLC testing, in cooperation with electrical commissioning engineer

• Checking EICA sub design doc/drawing and PLC/SCADA program to make sure the quality and schedule from EICA sub can meet with project target

• Assistance the after-sales team for EICA trouble shooting

   

  E&ICA Sub Management

• Help to source the EICA sub for bidding and project execution stage

• Evaluation of potential suppliers

• Maintenance the relationship with EICA sub

   

  Candidate profile

   

  The candidate must have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field, and 8-10+ years experience in similar position, i.e. E&ICA detailed design. He/she should also demonstrate the following qualifications:

   

• 5+ years on water/wastewater project in MNC company

• High level knowledge of PLC and electrical systems. At least familiar with AB/SIEMENS/SCHENDIER/MISTIBISHI

• Familiar with GB/IEC electrical and control standard

• Knowledge of electrical panel design and fabrication

• Proficient in AutoCad

• Audit trail knowledge is a must

• Good communications skills and good team player

• Hard working and able to work under tight deadlines

• Available to high frequency travel in China and overseas
