Key Responsibilities
-Product Procurement Strategy and Leadership:
?Implement sourcing and production concepts to achieve the best competitive cost without compromising high quality standards
?Manage the operation and administration of merchandising function

Job Description
?Conduct vendor sourcing based on Montana quality standard
?Explain and implement Montana purchase condition
?Arrange factory allocation in consultation with the quality team to achieve the most competitive cost and each vendor's technical ability
?Coordinate with the fabric team and garment vendors to monitor the sourcing process is carried out timely
?Coordinate among fabric, accessories, garment vendors and technical team to ensure thorough understanding of design requirement, washing effect.
?Continuous monitoring of sampling process, ad hoc problem solving to ensure timely delivery of sample in good condition
?Per style detailed cost breakdown check to ensure all accessories components are correct in costing from vendor
?Counter costing from various vendors to ensure most competitive price is achieved
?Arrange fabric supplier meeting prior to fabric order placement to enable time line control and payment procedure
?Detailed, accurate update of sampling and production progress into the company's EDP system, identify potential problem and provide solution and discuss with senior management
?A "through-train" coordination and monitoring of the complete supply chain including logistic coordination to ensure garment delivery and minimize freight cost
?Proper documentation and sample preparation for technical team to carry out inspection, in particularly fabric-defect mock up to ensure
?Carry out CIP (continues improvement process) to improve internal workflows among different departments
?Conduct seasonal assessment of the team to indentify team weakness; in consultation with General Manager and buyer to provide focused training to team member for improvement.

Traveling Requirement
Frequent travel to vendors during the product development and production process to provide ad hoc support and to assure delivery schedule.
