About the Role

Responsible for delivering entertainment middleware including multimedia framework, media control layer, etc.

• Design and develop multimedia middleware component for automotive infotainment system on Android, Linux and QNX platform.

• Work closely with global team to deliver qualified product.

• Work closely with customer to understand customer requirement.

• Perform across code review and related activities to ensure high-quality results.

• Conduct unit tests, and write various documentations for software component

What You Will Do

• Work on China market connectivity technologies, e.g. Baidu CarLife, Carbit, Welink.

• Develop multimedia applications and middleware on automotive system.

• Develop platform components to support multiple projects.

• As a member of global team, daily communicates with colleagues from Germany, India, America, etc. Work closely with them to make all things sync.

• Follow software development progress (review, debug and test) to ensure software quality.

What You Need

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and should have at least 3+ years of related experience.

• Strong C/C++ and OO programming skill.

• Familiar with multi-thread programming and multi-process communication.

• Familiar with inter-process communication.

• Familiar with embedded system software development and debugging skill.

• Experience on multimedia applications and framework (GStreamer, Cinemo or Android native multimedia framework, etc.)

• Experience in daily communicating with global team with English (e-mail and telephone).

• Optimistic personality and teamwork attitude
