PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for materials and supplies consumed in the total operation of the company, leading the Receiving, Warehousing, Materials planning and Inventory Control functions and the movement of materials. Focus on keeping with company policy, schedules and costs, and recommends policies and programs relating to the Materials management activities.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

- Responsible for logistic management, production/materials planning and warehouse management, etc.

- Plan and establish production objectives with consideration on orders, stock and raw material requirements, customer due dates, sales forecasts, etc.

- Control logistics costs, supervise warehouse activities, monitor and control inventory to minimize the costs.

- Low-cost flexibility planning to support changing demand by working closely with production on quicker reactions and sales & marketing on proactive decisions.

- To establish stock management system, ensuring that the stock control procedures are adhered to and data entry is accurate.
- Performs physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, shipping, storing and distribution of materials, spare parts and equipments, in order to ensure On-time / On-Site deliveries.
- Procurement of indirect material with quick response and actions to urgent orders in supporting production and maintenance activities.
- Dynamic data support to management in inventory control, procurement and shipping and transportation, etc.

- Keep track of the schedule, delivery and quantity of orders.
- Other work, tasks and projects related with warehousing and logistics management.

- Formulate and update logistic related database/report for top management review.
- Overall planning of warehouses and logistics layout, facility upgrading and maintenance.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (Skill Set)

- Between 5-7 years of experience in Auto/Mechanical Manufacturing Industry related to Purchasing, Planning, and Materials Management And experience in managing department(s) responsible for some or all aspects of material control functions.
- One or a combination of a bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Materials Management or an equivalent preferred).
- Extremely strong skills in the following areas: communication, leadership, business analysis, process system development, administration and change management.

- Planning/Project management experience with fast growth international company.

- Sufficient ERP experience.

- Excellent language skill in English and Mandarin for both Oral and Writing is a must.
- Able to represent Materials Department for the Operation, customers and supply base in terms of providing high-quality responses to supply chain and materials related issues.
