Position Description:

This position will be responsible for Firmware, RTOS, Linux Kernel, Device Driver, Linux/Android BSP (Board Support Package) and SDK (Software Development Kit) development for Siengine’s arm based processor targeting automotive market. The engineer will work in Siengine R&D SW Department in Beijing/Shanghai/Wuhan.

Main Responsibility:

- Develop software to enable and verify Siengine’s arm based SoC.

- Develop Firmware and driver for Siengine’s high performance arm based processor.

- Develop Firmware, RTOS, driver and application for function safety, system management and security requirement.

- Develop Linux device driver and Linux/Android BSP/SDK to Siengine’s high performance arm based processor.

- Develop and support automotive virtualization framework like Xen, QNX and other commercial hypervisors.

- Develop and performance optimization on multimedia driver, framework and applications for image, graphics, video, audio and display.

- Develop and integrate modules for Ethernet and industrial bus like CAN, LIN, FlexRay.

 

Required Skills:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree from China top universities with major on Computer Science, EE or Automation etc.

- Good academic record with GPA>3.7 and top 10% rank in the major.

- Experience on systems programming using Linux or UNIX operating systems

- Good knowledge in system programming, Linux kernel, device driver, Android and arm toolchains.
- Strong program skills in C/C++ and assembly language. Familiar with source code version control and review tools such as repo/git/gerrit.

- Experience of low level Linux driver development is preferred. Familiar with two or more of the following: Graphic, Display, Video, Audio, DSP, PCIe, BT/WiFi, Ethernet, DDR, SATA, Power Management, USB, eSDHC/eMMC, UFS, I2C/I2S/SPI and etc.
- Familiar with any of the following processors architecture: arm, x86 or PowerPC. Prefer to have multi-core knowledge.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, good oral and written English skills, energetic and self-motivated.
