POST:                                                 In-House Photographer （Full-time）

 

TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE:           Director of Marketing, Wellington College Shanghai

 

MAIN PURPOSE:                             The role of this post is to strengthen the imagery and videography of the three campuses in Shanghai for promotional purposes.

 

Job Scope & Key Responsibilities

 

 

Photography

• Create day-to-day photographs that reflects the ethos of the College

• Publish and distribute created works to press and internal teams

• Provide creative support and services to all internal departments

• Produce logistical photography such as ISAMS, class/form/house and whole school photos

• Manage the photograph database to ensure easy access of all photographs to press and internal teams

• Colour correct raw files for print and digital use and save in multiple formats and resolution

• Review copyrights for Wellington pupils/parents/staff and community usage

 

Videography

• Create video footage that reflects the ethos of the College by filming school events, interview with staff/ parents/ pupils, etc

• Edit the videos for internal and external communications purposes

• Work closely with third-party vendor to ensure high quality and on time deliverables on all post productions

 

Skills and Experience

• be creative, with a keen eye for detail

• have excellent technical and photographic skills

• have good communication and people skills

• have excellent IT skills, especially with software programs such as Photoshop, After Effect and other related video programmes
