The SAP SuccessFactors Product Design team is on a journey of transformation. We’re raising the standard for business engagement by designing our Human Resources app to focus on the employee, their day, their future, their career. Responsibilities

• Create a working environment to support the team’s ability to do the best work of their career
• Build relationships with the team and across the organization
• Promote the global design team agenda; be a path-maker, not a gatekeeper
• Develop team members through skills development, leadership opportunities, and innovation exercises
• Engage with fellow Product Design Managers to create and build efficiencies throughout the product design process
• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across all levels, teams, locations, and be willing to take ownership
• Be a leader in our mobile first strategy
• Communicate the value of design and be ambitious in supporting the design agenda
• Drive our beginning to end process model to deliver thoughtful product
• Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and simple user experiences
• Engage with end users, customers and the sales team to better understand the needs and workflows of the end users, and collaborate on concepts for new functionality
• Manage and report team capacity and workload; be adaptable to challenges and flexible with change

Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience working as Product or UX designer - preferably in a Cloud or consumer app company
• A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in managing teams
• Lead with honesty and integrity, considering the team as your top priority
• Clear communication skills, verbal, and written in Chinese and English
• Self-motivated fast learner with exceptional follow-through while operating with a sense of urgency
• Experience working in a large & geographically dispersed product-driven teams ++
• Previous work history in enterprise software companies ++
• Design for and with Machine Learning ++
