Job Title: Academic Development Program Manager

    

Department: Channel Sales VAR

    

Work Location: Shanghai or Beijing

    

Reports to: Regional Director, North China

    

Position Purpose:

    

The purpose of this position is to develop the Altium products technical adoption in China academy market. Increase Altium products adoption rate in the China universities, colleges, and technical schools. Provide technical expertise to support the China academy accounts which helps long term Altium business growth.

    

Key Responsibilities:

1. The Academic Development Program Manager will foster and maintain relationships with China universities, colleges, and technical schools to maximize the use of Altium Designer.
2. Deliver presentations on Altium Designer capabilities to higher education audiences on college and university campuses, at workshops, trade shows, and conferences.
3. Partner with Altium internal teams to ensure successful deployment and engagement with Altium Designer.
4. Work with universities, colleges, and technical schools, and support personnel to establish courses and programs in key focus areas.
5. Complete up-to-date tracking and documentation of all activities and engagements with academic institutions and stakeholders.
6. Work closely with the Regional Director, North China in building and expanding programs throughout the academic community in China.

                                                    

Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in relevant technical discipline - Electronic Engineering or Computer Science desirable
2. 5+ years electronic design related working experience
3. Multitasking operation experience, and basic project management experience
4. Exposure to working with senior level people in the academy accounts
5. Excellent working knowledge of Altium products
6. Knowledge of the electronic design,
7. Understand the academy operations,
8. Good communication skills & basic negotiation skill,
9. Good time management skill, multitasking oriented capability，and result oriented behave mode.
