About the Role

As a Senior Tools Developer, you will become a key player in the current SuccessFactors Engineering Performance team’s transition to empower both our own and other engineering teams on performance assessment/troubleshooting/optimization via performance-oriented tools Research & Development and DevOps services delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead/contribute to engineering efforts from planning and organization to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems in performance environment setup/testing/reporting/analysis/optimization and CI.
• Design and build API/SDK for performance-oriented platform including live performance-related action planning and data collection/storage/reporting/analysis.
• Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design.

Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant work experience, including software product development and/or tools development facilitating test automation.
• Hands-on programming experience with at least one of Python/JAVA/JavaScript.
• Knowledge and experience on modern open source eco-system for web applications like Spring boot/Spring cloud/Django/React.
• Hands-on development experience with ELK stack will be a plus.
• Experience on DevOps like scripting skills in Shell, Docker, K8S, Ansible, Jenkins, Unix admin would be another plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of Internet technologies.
